These terms and conditions apply to all projects and services.

The enquiry process:

Simply contact me with your requirements giving as much information as possible on your needs along with your expected timescale of completion.
Shortly after enquiring, you will receive a no-obligation quote which is valid for 14 days. I will also send you a copywriting brief to allow me to collect further information from you, such as your target audience and your tone of voice.
If you’re happy with the quote, please send an email to confirm that you agree to the fee, and have read the terms and conditions and wish to go ahead.
Before any work begins, you will be required to pay a booking fee which is 50% of the total cost.

How it works:

Before beginning your copy, a date will be agreed upon for when you’ll receive an initial draft of your content.
If you’re happy with the initial draft, and you don’t wish to request any changes or amendments, you will receive your final invoice.
Should you require any changes to your initial draft, they will be made in a timely manner.
Feedback concerning each draft issued must be sent within five working days. If I haven’t heard back from you within 10 working days, I reserve the right to issue your final invoice.
Should you require any changes to the copy due to new information, which wasn’t provided in the brief, you will be quoted for the additional work.

Payments:

Once you’re completely satisfied with your content, your final invoice will be issued and is payable immediately.
Payment later than 14 days after the issue of the invoice may be actionable and incur interest.
All payments should be made via bank transfer to the details listed on your invoice.
VAT is not currently charged.

Copyright, responsibilities and permitted uses:

Being human means that human error does sometimes occur. All copy is carefully checked for grammar and factual errors, however, this cannot be guaranteed. It is your responsibility to check all content before publishing or printing.
Upon payment of my final invoice, you take full responsibility of the copy.
Upon payment of the final invoice, full copyright of the copy will be assigned to you or your company or organisation.
I retain the right to publish extracts of my work or links to online material in my portfolio and other places, in order to promote my services unless a non-disclosure agreement has been arranged in advance.

Cancellations and refunds:

As soon as your booking fee is received, I will begin researching immediately. All booking fees are non-refundable.
Should you wish to cancel my services before your project is completed, a kill fee will be charged of up to 80% of the value of your project.
